Light comfort dal · 30 minutes
Moong Dal Recipe (Yellow Moong Dal Tadka)
No soak needed. Whisk smooth. Hot tarka.
Recipe by Farwa ZeeshanTested in the NineFoods home kitchenYellow moong dal is the quickest, lightest dal, ready in 30 minutes without soaking. It tastes flat when it is under-seasoned or the tarka is weak. The fix is cooking the dal until it breaks down, whisking it smooth and pouring a hot garlic tarka over it right before serving.
