Frequently Asked Questions
عام سوالاتQuick answers about our recipes, sharing our content and working with us.
About the recipes
Are your recipes tested?
Yes. Every recipe is cooked in a home kitchen before it’s published. See our editorial policy.
Are the recipes halal?
Most of our recipes use halal ingredients. A few international recipes traditionally use non-halal ingredients, and we suggest halal swaps where we can. Always check your own ingredients.
Can I swap an ingredient?
Usually, yes. We list common substitutions in the recipe notes. If you’re unsure, ask in the comments.
Why didn’t my dish turn out like the photo?
Stoves, pans and ingredients vary. Look for the visual cues in each step rather than relying on the timer alone. If something still goes wrong, leave a comment and we’ll help.
Do you include nutrition information?
Where shown, nutrition figures are automatic estimates, not professional advice. See our disclaimer.
Using our content
Can I share a recipe?
Please do. Share the link, or use one photo with a credit and link back. Please don’t copy the full recipe. See our Terms of Service.
Can I print a recipe?
Yes. Use the print button on the recipe card or your browser’s print option.
Working with us
Do you work with brands?

Can I suggest a recipe?
Absolutely. Email us or leave a comment and tell us the dish you’d like to see.
Do you sell food or deliver?
Not at the moment. Nine Foods is a recipe website.
