This Privacy Policy explains what information Nine Foods (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you visit https://ninefoods.com.pk (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. Nine Foods is a recipe website run from Pakistan by Farwa Zeeshan. We don’t sell products on the Site and we never sell your personal information.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact form and email: your name, email address and whatever you write in your message.
• Comments: your name, email address, optional website and your comment. Your email address is never shown publicly.
• Newsletter (if you subscribe): your email address and the date you signed up.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: pages viewed, time on page, the page that referred you, and approximate location (city or country) derived from your IP address.
• Device data: browser type, operating system, screen size and language.

We don’t collect payment details, government ID numbers or postal addresses, and we don’t knowingly collect sensitive personal data.

How we use your information

• To run the Site, keep it secure and fix problems.
• To understand which recipes people read so we can improve them and plan new ones.
• To reply to messages and comments.
• To send the newsletter, if you asked for it. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To show advertising, if ads are enabled on the Site (see “Advertising” below).
• To comply with the law and protect our rights.

Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, our legal bases are: your consent (newsletter, non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests (running, securing and improving the Site, replying to you), and legal obligations.

Services we use

We share data only with providers that help us run the Site. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

• Hosting and security: Rocket.net (hosting) and Cloudflare (content delivery and protection against attacks), which process IP addresses and request data.
• Analytics: Google Analytics, connected through Google Site Kit, to measure traffic. Google may process data outside Pakistan. See how Google uses data.
• Website software: WordPress and its plugins (including Kadence, Rank Math SEO and SpeedyCache), which run on our hosting.
• Embedded content: recipe videos and other embeds (for example YouTube) may set their own cookies when you play them.

Advertising

If we show ads, they may be served by Google or other ad networks. These partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised Google ads at Google Ads Settings and learn more at aboutads.info. Where required, we ask for your consent before personalised ads load.

How long we keep data

• Contact messages: up to 2 years, then deleted.
• Comments: as long as the comment is published. You can ask us to remove it.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Analytics: up to 14 months, under our Google Analytics retention setting.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or download your personal information, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re in the EU, UK or another region with a data protection authority, you may also complain to that authority.

California residents: we don’t sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising in exchange for money. If personalised ads are enabled, you can opt out using the links above.

Children

The Site is meant for a general audience and isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Security

We use HTTPS, a firewall and up-to-date software to protect the Site. No website can guarantee perfect security, so please don’t send sensitive information through the contact form.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, they use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we’ll post a notice on the Site.
