Sosis Bandari Recipe (Spicy Persian Sausage Street Food)
Brown the sausage. Fry the paste. Plenty of chilli.
Recipe by Farwa ZeeshanTested in the NineFoods home kitchenSosis bandari, port-style sausage, is the spicy sandwich filling of southern Iran: sausage and onion fried in a hot tomato and chilli sauce, often with potatoes, piled into bread with pickles. It turns watery and pale when the sausage is not browned and the tomato paste is not fried. The fix is browning first and frying the paste until it darkens.
